End Of Orientation & Feedbacks
Today was the 3rd and also the last day of orientation. Not to mention the worst day of the three. Some guy from california fitness came over to promote their club and they also had an activity planned for us newbies. We were even instructed to wear sports clothes instead of our usual formal wear for today. Surprise surprise~~~
I have no idea why are we doing this in a college but we had to bloody `dance`. Not just any dance but those step dance, kind of like exercise or aerobic maybe. Owh and we had to dance in front of the main entrance. Imagine all the passerbys, seniors and parents watching us do our silly looking dance. Talk about pai seh~~~~
So lectures went on like normal and we had almost 2 and a half hours break today. That is actually very long for someone who doesnt leave the college area for lunch. I went to check out the library and read some of the game programming books I've been dying to purchase. I have yet to check out the computer lab as it is always booked for classes.
Lucky me I made 2 new friends on the final day. In case you didn't know I didn't make any new friends since day 1. These 2 guys which I forgot their names again (sorry :-p) are pretty funny fellas although they tend to get pretty excited at the word sex.
We had to do a short presentation today on whatever topics we want. We can look for info in the library or google it on the net. So one guy was presenting about software business. He was rambling what software was and its definition when my friend made a stupid joke. It goes something like this:
`When a guy sees a leng lui, their software will become hardware`
I literally laughed my head off when I heard that. Lolz.
Overall orientation has been pretty fun though I can't ignore the fact that my class students are really a shy bunch. They never answer any questions, raise hands or even give opinion to the lecturers. Maybe its cos were all still new to the environment and people around us. So far, I'm pretty impressed with APIIT and I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best in time to come.
PS: Tan Zhao Hao, Sorry for not remembering your birthday as I have permanent amnesia for birthdates. Please forgive me, thanks for the supper and friends forever :-)
