A One Of a Kind Outing

After a pretty long wait for more interesting outings, we have finally done it. Yesterday Victor Jeffery, Joshua and I made a trip down to Sunway Pyramid to meet up with Tan and his HELP college friends. Ok the drive to Sunway wasn't too bad cos the traffic was pretty smooth all the way but we did miss a few turns and ended up U-turning twice to get inside the parking. We reached Sunway area at about 1 but I think we were on the roads getting lost and U-turning for about an hour or so (thats long yea I know :-p).

Finally we parked our ride and headed over to Kenny Rogers to meet Tan and his HELP friends. Alright what made this outing so different is also cos of Tan's HELP friends. Cos of him, I've just made some pretty nice friends (Which I kinda badly needed). Ok I didn't manage to take any pics cos we ain't that close yet but I guess I'll name those people...they are Vivian, Hallie, Beauty or Ming Yi (right?), Wilson and Gerrard(?). Oh and they call Tan Nelson for some reason (Hmm your nama macho ah?). They are all pretty friendly people and their group are really fun to be with. Best part is I see a sense of care and concern among them. Well I can say our friend Tan has found himself a pretty perfect group of friends. :-) (Jealousla how come I don't get such nice friends)

As to what we did at Sunway, Victor and I joined Tan and his HELP friends for Ice Skating. We had to pay a total of RM21 (Rm16 entrance and RM5 for em small as hell gloves). I had no trouble as I still remember how to ice skate. Victor on the other hand was screaming like a sissy because he was very extremely unstable which I had no idea why. He was basically grasping on the wall trying to stay alive as long as he can....oh the perseverance :-p. And not to mention almost bumping into one of the girls but ended up in a hugging pose (Lucky ass).Tan on the other hand injured his leg....probably cos of the incorrect shoe size? We only skated for an hour, which was pretty short but I think everyone was already tired (as for Victor I think he gave up :-p).

We drove all the way to Centre Point from Sunway for dinner. I fell asleep in the car cos the journey was really long and boring. We went to Manhattan Fish Market for dinner which sucked all of our wallets dry. Went back to our headquarters (Desa) for a few rounds of CS and then headed home for rest. Thats how another fantastic weekend ended :-)......Looking forward for another great outing.

My finals will begin tomorrow with English being the first subject. I really got no idea what to study for English and our lecturer didn't want to give us any tips according to my classmate. Oh well, might as well do my best and forget the rest!!!

WARNING!! Hectic Week Ahead

3 more weeks to exam and it will be the end of first semester of my IT foundation in APIIT. Sounds simple?? Think again. We still got 2 presentations to go and one of it requires us to interview a manager of any company regarding how their organization is run and such stuff. Simple enough? The problem? The assignment was given to us 1 month ago but we haven't even start setting the questions for the interview yet. And guess what, now we're left with only one week and processing the interview request letter would take a week; for NST at least. To make things even better, theres another Malaysian Studies presentation that we must work on. Owh and not to forget the finals which we have to study.....TIME OH I NEED MORE TIME!!!!!!!!!!

I went to lowyat today to help much cousin, Teo get his rig (pc). Phew I gotta admit, there really are a lot of pretty girls in this world :-p. Alright craps aside, I noticed prices of CPUs have not changed very much at all. They still range from 1.4-1.9k depending on graphic card and ram. Everything else is just the same despite the advancement of technology. Luckily computer parts ain't as depreciating as handphones...

On the 7th of July, I managed to get a team to enter the World Cyber Games college preliminaries. Miraculously, we got second place............Great? Not really....cos the game we joined only had 4 participating teams which means we are in the semi finals from the start of the competition. Our first opponent was another team from our intake which trained with us many times before the competition but never did score more than 3 points against us. We thrased them pretty bad but in the finals, we got owned pretty bad because of my lucky hands drawing 2 maps that we did not train at all. In the end, we got second place and all we got was a lousy shoebag........................:-(

No Brainer

These 2 weeks has been pretty hectic. A week ago we had to rush our Organisational & Social Environment (OSE) assignment and this week Personal Development & Study Methods (PDSM) report. It seems to be the current trend for `unsuccessful` students to rush their assignments last minute, and I happen to be in that bandwagon. Why last minute you ask? Well, its the same excuse the whole world is using; `I can work better under pressure` :-p. Currently, I'm really glad the assignments have been completed and its over. All we have to do is to wait for our marks now....

Malaysian Studies couldn't get any worse than this. THE LECTURER FREAKING LOST MY TEST PAPER!!!!! Whats worst, he simply gave me a 0 for losing my paper. I mean come on, he lost my paper and I get 0 for doing the test? Which part of that sentence actually makes any sense??!! To make things even `better` this will be the last week this lecturer'll be teaching us. Hes leaving the college for good next week. Triple/Quadraple the trouble. Which indirectly means, I CAN'T EVEN LODGE A FEEDBACK TO COMPLAIN!!! Sigh.....just hope he can somehow find my paper on his table or something......

I can't believe how fast time flies. Yes it is another pretty common line among us but..YEAH...time flies when you're having fun. In a blink of an eye, its already my 3rd month in college which is also almost the end of first semester. Overall, I had lotsa fun and studying in college is wayyyy more interesting than high school but I still haven't got to where it gets interesting yet. No IT/Gaming related subjects + Moral Studies + Malaysian Studies = YAWN.....

Here's a group picture of my closer friends in college:

This picture was taken at the Star Bukit Jalil station and apparently, we had nothing else to pose with cept the bag.....
